NATO at 60
The NATO parliamentary association hosted a reception to celebrate the alliance’s 60th anniversary, welcome its new members and mark the pending ascension of Croatia and Albania. The reception was held in 200 West Block, on Parliament Hill, on March 5.
All-Party Party
After being delayed by the election then the prorogation of Parliament, NDP Fisheries critic Peter Stoffer finally threw his much-anticipated All-Party Party on March 4. The multi-partisan all-are-welcome bash brought in hundreds, including a few from the diplomatic corps.
NPSIA
The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs hosted its 12th Annual NPSIA Benefit Soirée on Feb. 26 at the National Arts Centre. Proceeds went to support UNICEF in the Eastern Congo.
