The Diplomatic Hospitality Group organized a boat cruise down the Ottawa River for women diplomats and spouses of diplomats on Oct. 3. The ladies enjoyed the fall colours, and there was music, singing and line dancing.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office celebrated Taiwan’s National Day with a reception on Oct. 3.

The Korean Embassy celebrated its National and Armed Forces Day with a reception on Oct. 3.

The OK Clean Water Project hosted a successful and musical fundraiser at the NAC on Oct. 4.
Hungary
The Hungarian Embassy celebrated the 50th Anniversary of their Revolution with many cultural and commemorative events in Ottawa and across Canada, including the unveiling of a monument on Oct. 3, and the opening of an exhibit of photographs of Hungarian Canadians at the NAC on Oct. 4.
Afghanistan
The Embassy of Afghanistan presented a photographic exhibition at the University of Ottawa on Oct. 5, featuring photos of Afghan women involved in journalism. The exhibit continues until Oct. 18 and then moves to Carleton.
