Summer Ball
The British High Commission threw a string of chic parties last week. The Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, the Third Wall Theatre Company and others were invited to host fundraisers under the marquee tent set up on the high commissioner’s lawn before the week culminated in the Earnscliffe Summer Ball on June 20.

The Children’s Bridge Foundation held their Embrace an Orphanage fundraiser at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on May 27. The dinner event was organized by CTV’s Rosemary Thompson and co-hosted by Jay Hill, leader of the government in the house, and Sheila Copps, former Liberal deputy leader.
