Past Throne Speeches heavy on foreign policy

Canadians will be tuning in today as Governor General Michaëlle Jean gives voice to the Conservative government agenda for the next parliamentary session the Speech from the Throne.

The Harper government has presided over five Throne Speeches since its election in 2006, including the one today, and almost all have laid out bold foreign policy objectives.
