Spending more on counter-terrorism no easy task

The arrest last week of three Canadian men on terrorism charges in Ottawa and London, Ont., has once again propelled the issue into the national spotlight.

Public Safety Minister Vic Toews wasted no time commenting on the case, complementing the RCMP, the Canada Border Services Agency and the country's spy agency for "preventing activity that may threaten our safety and security."
