Libyan chargé denies report of his potential recall

Trade minister plays up economic links during Libyan visit.

Libyan Chargé d'Affaires Abubaker Karmos has denied he is about to leave Ottawa, after a report surfaced that his government may recall former regime envoys.

The Libyan government is moving to recall its ambassadors around the world who have ties with the former regime of Muammar Gaddafi, Reuters reported on Jan. 29.
