Canadian Taking Over at a Prime Arbitration Time

Well that didn't take long.

No sooner did Canada become a member of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) than a Canadian was appointed the head honcho of the organization.

Meg Kinnear, a 25-year veteran of the Canadian public service, will become the secretary-general of ICSID in June of this year.

Mind you, Ms. Kinnear doesn't owe her job to...
