Macedonia wants looser NATO rules

The country's foreign minister says his countrymen have seized on a comment by Defence Minister Peter MacKay. But it may have been in jest.

Defence Minister Peter MacKay's passing suggestion that NATO loosen up its consensus-based decision-making process may have been made in jest, but the idea has been received as music to Macedonian ears, says the country's foreign minister, Antonio Milososki.
