Dyer way off base

Gwynne Dyer is a known supporter of the Turkish viewpoint ("Armenia: The end of the debate?" Oct. 21). I wish to tell him that he may have read the Turkish and the British documents, but he has not spoken to the descendants of the Armenian genocide.

Mr. Dyer talks about the deportation of the Armenian population from the Eastern provinces. I will confirm to him that the deportations were from across Turkey, until 1923. My father's...
