Having just returned from Kurdistan as the "lone tourist" featured in the New York Times on Sept. 21, I was disappointed to read Scott Taylor's article (RE: "The Many Kurdish Complications in Iraq," Oct. 22). Mr. Taylor's views are further evidence of the Western misunderstanding so prevalent in the media and foreign policy debate.
