Disasters in the Asian nation's north have prompted consultations that could affect pending free trade talks with Canada.Despite a spring earthquake and tsunami that ravaged much of northern Japan's agriculture-rich industry and infrastructure, Canada is pressing ahead with bilateral meetings looking at the viability of a free trade agreement.
