Speaking of little federal government interest in Europe and Ottawa's "distance" from the rest of Canada, outgoing Italian Ambassador Gabriele Sardo says there is a need to better exploit the untapped potential between the two countries. However, in an interview with Embassy, the envoy said things are slowly turning around.
