Christmas and New Years are distant memories, the Olympics are over and parliamentarians are back in Ottawa for the long-delayed resumption of Parliament.

Yet a lot has changed over the past three months. The worst of the economic recession looks to have passed. Haiti has been devastated by an earthquake. Rights & Democracy is in chaos. And Canada is now the president of the G8.
