More consultations with provinces needed to reduce emissions, say business groups

In January 2010, Canada said it would commit to a 17 per cent reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions from 2005 levels by 2020, as a consequence of signing on to the Copenhagen Accord. The move mirrored the commitment from the White House.
