One of the largest threats to stronger bilateral relations between Canada and India is the issue of corruption hanging over the Indian government's head. The situation has angered Canadian visa officials dealing with fraud at the Indian state-level, and now news reports suggest corruption has penetrated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's own cabinet.
