Canada ends up alone in North Korea boycott at the UN

Observers say move was not matched with action to move disarmament agenda forward.

Amonth after Canada announced a boycott, North Korea has held two disarmament conference meetings that analysts say resulted in almost no accomplishments. It will preside over at least one more meeting before handing the presidency to Cuba on Aug. 19. As is well known, the conference remains deadlocked by its own requirement that it move forward only on consensus.
