France 'impressed' by Canadian 'leadership' in Libya: Envoy

New French deputy says it was evidence France and Canada can and should do things together on the international scene.

Seated in his spacious Ottawa office, France's new deputy head of mission smiles while thinking back to his childhood. When he was 12 years old, Alexandre Vulic says, he had already decided he wanted to become a diplomat.

The reason? He wanted to get to know the world beyond France's borders, and he wanted to work for the French government.
