Israel, Taiwan top destinations for MPs

Israel and Taiwan were once again the destinations of choice for parliamentarians looking for educational—and free—trips abroad.

According to a report from the Ethics Commissioner's office, 53 members of Parliament took a total of 81 trips last year. The total cost was $432,000—all paid for by outside organizations.
