DFAITers received a rather rude awakening on the first day of this week when their Monday Blues turned to a darker shade of Red Alarm.

The culprit for this transformation was a euphemistically named "suspicious package" that led to the evacuation of the imposing Lester B. Pearson Building, the attested headquarters of Canadian foreign policy and international trade.
