Human smuggling, medicine and trade bills die

On Dec. 2, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney held a teleconference with members of the ethnic media. The day before, the Liberal Party had come out and sworn it would fight bill C-49, a controversial piece of legislation introduced to fight human smuggling.
