Finish the job, Afghan rights leader urges

Canada is in danger of not fulfilling its objectives in the country. Sima Samar believes this is reason enough to stay.

Debate is only starting over the future role Canada will play in Afghanistan. Following the Kabul Conference on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon restated that Canada is committed to withdrawing its troops in 2011, but he wouldn't make any further statements.
