Popular opposition to Magma take-over of a geothermal company raises memories of Potash.

When Industry Minister Tony Clement rejected an Australian company's bid to take over fertilizer producer Potash Corp. in November, many interpreted the move as a response to widespread, popular opposition from across the country.

Now, it seems, Canada is on the other side of a similar popular revolt.
