Canada Risks Being Swept Under the Globalization Wave

Mark Carney, our new governor of the Bank of Canada, chose to use his first speech to extol the benefits of globalization, as well as to highlight some of the challenges. It would be hard to disagree with much of what he said.

Globalization, for example, has brought many benefits by giving consumers greater choice and lower prices while enabling many people previously excluded from the global economy...
