U.S. Travel Rule Proposals Due Next Month

The Americans are moving ahead with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, despite delays by the U.S. Congress and Senate, and there are concerns Canada is dragging its feet.

Proposals on how to apply the land and sea elements of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative are expected by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security within the next month, an American diplomat said Monday.
