Canadians and Americans often don't see eye-to-eye on multilateralism, but when it comes to the United Nations they are on the same page: the UN is broken and badly needs to be fixed.

That shared belief was a starting point for a fact-finding visit to Ottawa by former U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell. He says Canada is naturally fit to give advice on the American approach to the United Nations....
