Senate Boost

Conservative Senator Raynell Andreychuk (above) introduced a motion last week calling on the Canadian government to put a timeline on its stated commitment to devote 0.7 per cent of its total budget to foreign aid. Currently, Canada spends about 0.26 per cent of its gross national income on international assistance, and will only boost that number slightly with its promised annual 8 per cent increase....
