Cashing in on Iraqi reconstruction puts Canadian companies on a collision course with potential corruption

Canadian companies will lose out on a potential windfall unless they immediately begin pursuing lucrative reconstruction contracts in Iraq, according to Foreign Affairs Canada. But Transparency International (TI) is warning that the aggressive federal strategy to promote exports could backfire unless there's more emphasis on avoiding corruption.
