Mercosur's Outside Chance for a Trade Deal

Canadian business people eager to get a foothold in South America are urging the federal government to pursue negotiations with an economic bloc in the region, according to Tim Plumptre, Chairman of the Canadian Council for the Americas. But they could be disappointed because, at this stage, there's only a small chance of a Canada-Mercosur trade deal being inked, he says.
