Reforming the UN

In response to "UN Reform and the North-South Divide" (Embassy, Jan.26). Reform of the UN is essential if it is to have any relevance in this world. We do need to get rid of, in particular, the permanent members of the Security Council, who can use their veto every time an important resolution is to be passed. The South sees the hypocrisy in the North's treatment and exploitation of the South.
