The analysis of Colin Powell's tenure at State is now largely over -- even while Powell lingers on through the holiday season pending Senate hearings for NSC Director and Secretary-designate Dr. Condoleezza Rice.

The Washington buzz is now directed at what kind of Secretary Dr.Rice will be.

And as is often the case when the "boss" is going to change, there is a mild level of apprehension....
