The first credential presentation of 2005 got underway at Rideau Hall on Feb. 8 as four new heads of mission presented their letters to the Governor General, including Musaed Rashed Al Haroun of Kuwait and Romy Vásquez de González of Panama. Sadaaki Numata of Japan and Jamil Saker of Syria were also among the new ambassadors.
