Richard Banister's embassy, so to speak, is undergoing a facelift. The owner of Ottawa's Snapdragon gallery, Mr. Banister considers himself an ambassador for the 165 Canadian artists whose works are represented at the gallery. After 24 years as a crafts-cum-gift store located at 791 Bank Street, Snapdragon recently closed for two weeks, evolving into a gallery space. "It was time for a change," says Mr. Banister....
