The Rich Legacy of Eric Kierans

Among the many glowing obituaries published this week about Eric Kierans, former federal and Quebec cabinet minister of the 1960s and 1970s, public intellectual and a truly original thinker, gadfly, the most laudatory was in The Economist magazine.

The Economist didn't mention Kierans by name. Even the most assiduous journalist there barely would have heard of him.
