Spotlight on Canada Day

Parliament Hill is the focal point of Canada Day celebrations on July 1. Hundreds of activities will take place throughout the Ottawa region on this country's birthday, but the main events will happen on the lawns in the shadow of the Peace Tower.

Taking public transportation or walking would be your best bet to get to the Hill as all streets surrounding Parliament will be closed to traffic. Wellington...
