The Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation is drawing on American research results (the New England Journal of Medicine, January 2010) to urge Canadians to reduce salt consumption by 1/3. Does the author of this piece have any concerns about drawing on American health professionals for salt advice, as being driven by salt ideology?
